Communications Lead



  • To ensure brand identity and visibility in all company platforms, website and all public communications. 

  •  Responsible for the internal and external communication function within the company.



  • Oversight and development of communications strategy

  • Manage website and all social media content, and the overall look, feel and functionality 

  • Carry out social media community management (customer interaction online), copy writing and influencer management.

  • Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices

  • Write interdepartmental memos and other business correspondence as needed

  • Manage website and social media analytics

  • Ensure consistency in NCAI external communications including developing style guide for all written work

  • Copyedit and proofread all external communications, liaising with curatorial and programs department

  • Compile and edit NCAI monthly e-newsletter

  • Researching new audiences and developing relationships with the local community

  • Take ownership of NCAI databases and mailing lists

  • Maintain and update press database

  • Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, and related marketing materials 

  • Contributing and developing multimedia content, including all video content and the overall NCAI digital strategy



●  Contribute to and participate in a collaborative working environment, including weekly team discussions and other conversations




  • Timely reporting of monthly and weekly reports

  • 100% support of promotion activities

  • Promote Brand awareness

  • 100% compliance on all company policy & procedures. 


  • Degree/diploma in a business related field

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and packages

  • Working Knowledge of Adobe suits

  • Extensive knowledge and skills on managing a company website and major social media platforms. 

  • Language skills – must be proficient in at least two local languages (one to be Kiswahili) and also fluent in oral and written English. 

  • Good understanding of the local sales environment.

  • Three years’ experience working in a busy sales department.
