About the event
Join us as we delve into the depths of artistic process and curatorial practice and learn how to situate our own creative and artistic processes within the map of the art world. We will delve into some books on NCAI’s shelves and understand the trends of recent history concerning the Black gaze and the importance of contemporary canons as we self-situate. Come ready to think and write creatively!
This invitation is open to anyone interested in the arts, books, or being in a book club that explores the intersection of the arts and literature. No previous experience in any field of creative expression is required to participate.
