Ceramics Workshop

Join us for a collaborative, hands-on workshop offering an introduction to some of the methods and techniques used in the creation of the sculptures (Kaspale’s Ancestors) in Syowia Kyambi’s ongoing solo exhibition at NCAI.

During this workshop, you'll have the chance to explore hand-building techniques and wheel-throwing, under the guidance of experienced ceramist Peter Mungari.

Through expert demonstrations and one on one coaching, you'll be exposed to various techniques for shaping, molding, and decorating clay to bring your own unique creations to life.

The workshop is also a great opportunity to make your own Kaspale.

This workshop is open to participants at all skill levels.
