About the event
Drawing inspiration from Sahej Rahal’s ‘Wayfinder’ exhibition, the workshop allowed participants to explore Rahal’s materials and techniques while learning from Oiro. Divided into three groups, they used found objects, cardboard, bubble wrap, plaster, foam, paint, and more to craft their own monsters. The result? Three unique beings: ‘Midas’ (the gold-turning ‘BDSM monster’), ‘Mary Jezebel’ (a dark feminine energy), and ‘Broken Sparrow/Rising Phoenix’ (a shape-shifting creature).
