About the event
In the session, participants will be introduced to the concept of play versus games, dive into the history of analogue games, and how they feed into digital games. Participants will also explore how games have been used for the dissemination of knowledge and political aims. Part of the workshop will also involve a practical element where participants will design their own games.
Natasha Khanyola is a creative technologist and artist with a passion for using different mediums to tell stories creatively. Currently, Natasha (@tashakyola) is primarily focused on developing interactive media experiences.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in the notion of play, gaming, game design, and games. No previous experience in any form of creative expression is required to participate in the workshop.
Spaces for the workshop are limited, and participants can sign up for the event using the link provided.
