About the event
Taking Xenson's work in the exhibition as its starting point, the workshop series invites participants to share their perspectives on the exhibition and think together about different methods for artistic research, paying particular attention to objects and materials and their various historical and cultural resonances.
Over five in-person and/or virtual sessions, which will include artist talks/presentations, a sketching tour, a studio visit and a zine-making workshop, the participants will convene to consider various forms, methods and subjects, building on the ideas underpinning the works featured in the exhibition, Olidde Mupipa.
The dates for the five sessions are listed below.

The workshops are open to creative practitioners (artists, designers, writers, curators, etc.) at various stages of their careers. Selected participants are expected to commit to attending all five sessions.
